Do all users need a CMMI Tools license?

No. Only Auditors need a license, which gives them access to both the auditor and practitioner tools. Practitioners do not need a license to use CMMI Tools.

Is there an on-premise version of CMMI Tools?

No. CMMI Tools is only available as a SaaS application.

Will CMMI Tools be storing any data?

Yes. CMMI Tools stores whatever data the customer enters.

Where will the data be stored?

CMMI Tools is built and hosted on the Bubble platform. Bubble’s main cluster applications are hosted on AWS West Region which maintains a state-of-the-art security infrastructure. Bubble encrypts all traffic to bubble.io over https, integrated with Cloudflare. All user passwords are stored salted and encrypted in their database; other user data is encrypted at rest (on AWS RDS). Bubble’s servers use up-to-date, patched versions of Linux and are constantly updated.

Who owns my data?

You. As per Paragraph 7. “Ownership” of Bubble‘s Terms of Service: You own your content. Neither Bubble or CMMI Tools have any rights to your user data.

Do you use my data?

No. Neither Bubble or CMMI Tools use your user’s data. Bubble maintains some surface-level analytics on all applications across the Bubble platform, but do not utilize your user’s data for any purposes.
